So it's been a busy Thanksgiving week for Justin Bieber. He's been making the rounds on the talk show circuit, visiting “The View” and “Late Night with David Letterman,” talking about his supposed baby mama Mariah Yeater.

The paternity allegation “shouldn't even be a discussion,” Bieber explained on “The View,” explaining that he took the paternity test in New Jersey not because he had to, but because he wanted to. Even if Yeater doesn't even submit her son's DNA for testing, Bieber said he wanted eerything to “be out there in the open.” The singer reportedly went to a lab to take the test under “very controlled circumstances,” and now Yeater, 20, just has to provide DNA from her child.

Buuuut it sounds like Yeater isn't going to be comparing any DNA despite her initial allegations. Neither she nor her lawyer have made any attempt to contact Team Bieber reagrding the DNA test. In fact, Yeater's lawyer has been talking to the media, but has stayed far away from anyone involved with Justin. Sources connect to Bieber believe that Yeater will never produce DNA results – because it can end up being used against her in the lawsuit Bieber intends to file against her (and her lawyer) for abuse of legal process.

Although Yeater's lawsuit was dropped last week, her team of lawyers claim she still wants to persue her claim outside of the courtroom. Which, to us, means that she wants Bieber to cough up some cash for her to just shut up and go away. But she may be in for a surprise.

“I know that I'm going to be a target,” Bieber said, “but I'm never going to be a victim."
